Task 1:
The chart below gives information about computer ownership in the US from 1997 to 2012.

Task 2: Some people think that the best way to increase road safety is to increase the minimum legal age, for driving cars or riding motorbikes. To what extent do you agree or disagree?

Task 1:
The chart below shows the percentage of drug company’s total sales, by region, from 2002 to 2006.
Task 2: Throughout history, people have dreamed of living in a perfect society, but nobody has agreed on what an ideal society would look like. What do you think is the most important element needed to make a society perfect? How can the ideal society be achieved?

Task 1:
The graphs below show the age of visitors from the UK to Spain in 1983 and 2003. Provide an overview of the information by identifying and describing the key details, and include comparisons where appropriate.
Task 2: Some people think the government should establish free libraries in each town. Others believe that it is a waste of money since people can access the Internet to obtain information. Discuss both views and give your own opinion

Task 2: More and more people are travelling to other countries today. Why is this happening? Is it a positive or negative development?

20.03.2026 – IDP Ngọc Khánh
Task 1:
The first chart below shows the percentages of women and men in a country involved in some kinds (cooking, cleaning, pet caring and repairing the house). The second chart show the amount of time each gender spent on each task per day.
Task 2: Some people believe that not all students have a natural ability for learning other languages, so schools should not force them to learn new languages. To what extent do you agree or disagree?

Task 1:
The bar chart details the amount of waste that was disposed of via landfill, burning and dumping at sea, in a particular European country between 2005 and 2008.
Task 2: Some people say that the most important thing about being rich is that it gives a person the opportunity to help others. To what extent do you agree or disagree? 

2. Tần suất dạng đề Writing Task 1

Task 1 thiên mạnh về biểu đồ số liệu, nhưng maps/plans/process vẫn xuất hiện dày và cần ưu tiên ôn riêng.

Nhóm xuất hiện nhiều nhất

A. Dạng chart số liệu (chiếm đa số, khoảng 25/32 đề)
Bao gồm bar chart, line graph, pie chart, table, mixed charts, graphs so sánh theo thời gian hoặc theo nhóm. Đây là nhóm áp đảo trong bộ đề hiện có.

B. Dạng maps / plans / layout changes (khoảng 6/32 đề)
Xuất hiện liên tục ở 02.01, 16.01, 29.01, 28.02, 05.03, 07.03. Điểm đáng chú ý là dạng này không hiếm; nó là một cụm cần ôn nghiêm túc, nhất là language for spatial change và overview for redevelopment.

C. Dạng process/diagram (ít hơn, khoảng 1/32 đề rõ ràng)
Trong nguồn hiện có, dạng process thấy rõ ở 29.01 về xử lý rác thải sinh hoạt. Dù tần suất thấp hơn maps và charts, nó vẫn nên có một bộ template riêng.

3. Tần suất dạng câu hỏi Writing Task 2

Cũng trong giai đoạn này có 32 đề Task 2. Khi mã hóa theo question type, bộ đề khá cân bằng nhưng vẫn có một số pattern nổi bật.

A. Agree / Disagree – To what extent do you agree or disagree?

Đây là cụm ra nhiều nhất, khoảng 12/32 đề.
Ví dụ tiêu biểu: giá nhiên liệu và môi trường, tác phẩm nghệ thuật công cộng, chất lượng sống thế kỷ 21, học phí đại học, công nghệ làm giảm tội phạm, ngân sách không gian, tuổi lái xe tối thiểu, ép học ngoại ngữ, sự giàu có để giúp người khác.

B. Discuss both views and give your opinion

Đứng thứ hai, khoảng 9/32 đề.
Ví dụ: đời sống xã hội gắn với công việc hay không, cấm thể thao nguy hiểm, bỏ tù hay lao động cộng đồng, truyền thống hay cá tính, phim nội hay phim ngoại, tổ chức từ thiện giúp ai, trách nhiệm ô nhiễm là chính phủ hay cá nhân, lịch sử gia đình, thư viện miễn phí hay internet.

C. Two-part question / causes–solutions / reasons–problems

Khoảng 8/32 đề.
Ví dụ: imported food, tái phạm sau tù, nghiên cứu lịch sử gia đình, cảnh quan toàn cầu giống nhau, đồ hỏng bị thay mới, mù chữ ở người lớn, xã hội hoàn hảo, du lịch quốc tế ngày càng tăng.

D. Positive / Negative development hoặc Advantages vs Disadvantages

Nhóm này đan xen với C nhưng đủ mạnh để xem là một cluster riêng.
Ví dụ: đăng thông tin cá nhân online, giống nhau về cảnh quan toàn cầu, hoạt động hằng ngày chuyển lên online, ai cũng sở hữu ô tô/TV/tủ lạnh, du lịch quốc tế nhiều hơn, nghiên cứu lịch sử gia đình.

4. Tần suất chủ đề Writing Task 2

Nhóm chủ đề nổi bật nhất

1. Government / public policy / public spending / regulation
Đây là cụm mạnh nhất. Xuất hiện qua các câu hỏi về: thuế nhiên liệu, nghệ thuật công cộng, nhà tù và lao động cộng đồng, học phí đại học, giao thông công cộng miễn phí, trách nhiệm môi trường, tài trợ không gian, nâng tuổi lái xe, thư viện công, vai trò từ thiện, vai trò nhà nước trong giáo dục và giao thông.

2. Environment / pollution / sustainability / transport
Xuất hiện dày ở các đề về môi trường, ô nhiễm do vận chuyển, giá nhiên liệu, giao thông công cộng, hành vi tiêu dùng “throw away culture”, và sự tương đồng hóa cảnh quan.

3. Education / youth / literacy / language learning
Rất đáng chú ý. Gồm học phí đại học, người lớn mù chữ, ép học ngoại ngữ, người trẻ và truyền thống, vai trò giáo dục trong xã hội. Đây là cụm Engonow rất nên tận dụng vì phù hợp thẳng với positioning của trung tâm.

4. Technology / online life / privacy / crime tech
Gồm dữ liệu cá nhân online, làm việc/giao tiếp/mua sắm online, công nghệ phòng chống tội phạm, internet thay thế thư viện, ngân sách cho không gian. 

5. Society / culture / media / family history / identity
Gồm phim trong nước và nước ngoài, nghiên cứu lịch sử gia đình, truyền thống và cá tính, xã hội hoàn hảo, chất lượng sống qua các thế kỷ. Đây là nhóm đề xã hội–văn hóa xuất hiện lặp lại khá đều.

6. Crime / law / punishment / public safety
Gồm prison alternatives, recidivism, crime prevention via technology, road safety. Không áp đảo nhưng xuất hiện đủ thường xuyên để cần có bộ idea bank riêng.

7. Globalization / lifestyle / consumerism / travel
Imported food, foreign movies, disposable consumer habits, giống nhau về cảnh quan, travel abroad nhiều hơn. Đây là một cluster lặp lại rõ.
